Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Adult men and women over the age of 18 with a mental health diagnosis in need of less restrictive treatment may be interested in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The outpatient programs allow for the flexibility to attend work and attend to other daily responsibilities while receiving meaningful treatment.

Adults transitioning from inpatient treatment, or managing symptoms to prevent hospitalization, may find our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program beneficial. Participants benefit from a less intensive therapeutic environment.

Our program includes cognitive behavioral treatment, like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to emphasize mindfulness, help regulate emotions, and work toward distress tolerance. This program also includes expressive therapies such as art, play, dance, movement and drama in order to offset our clinical treatments and heal more holistically.
The Adult IOP program meets year round Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m.

Group includes:

  • A certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC) facilitator
  • Family Education & Support
  • Expressive Therapy
  • Peer Support
  • National Alliance On Mental Illness (NAMI) education and advocacy
  • Nurse Education
  • Lunch is provided
