Riveredge Hospital

In December we partnered with the Community Mental Health Board of Oak Park Township and the Proviso Public Partnership to coordinate a Winter Wear Drive for local organizations. We placed donations boxes at various locations throughout Oak Park and Proviso Township and the community shared an overwhelming amount of donations!

We received so many donations that we were not only able to fulfill the wish lists of the organizations we initailly partnered with, but also donated items to Madden Mental Health Center, Chicago-Read Mental Health Center, and Hines VA Hospital. Donations also went to Sarah's Inn, NAMI Metro Suburban, Housing Forward, and The Way Back Inn as planned.

The young men and staff in our residential program, led by Rick Karmik, Director of Continuum, dropped off , sorted, picked up donated items. Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this effort such a huge success!
